Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team was unable to fend off the St. Cloud State offense in Friday night's NSIC match. The Huskies capitalized off of two goals in the first half, taking the 2-1 win over the Wolves in their first NSIC loss of 2023.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The St. Cloud State offense was on the gas early, scoring a goal in the first 15 minutes of the game
- Northern State responded back with a corner kick goal by Hannah Smith at the 29-minute mark
- The Huskies kept the pressure on the Wolves wither their second and ultimately the game winning goal late in the first half
- Northern State out-shot St. Cloud State, 15-7, while both teams recorded four shots-on-goal
- NSU notched eight fouls to SCSU's ten fouls
