Minneapolis, Minn. – The Northern State University men's and women's cross country teams took on the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday. The men tallied a 16^th place finish, while the women took 15^th from the Les Bolstad Golf Course.  
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• The men recorded an average 8k time of 27:52.5
• Jackson Harrison led the way taking fifth with a time of 25:29.9 as the top NSIC finisher in the race
• Josh Martin and Jonathan Burkhalter followed with times of 27:31.10 and 27:57.00
• Rounding out Northern's top-5 were Evan Halbe and Jacob Angerhofer with times of 29:07.80 and 29:16.70

 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• The women finished with an average 6k time of  25:17.50
• Mary Franssen led the way for NSU, crossing the finish line in 41^st with a time of 23:53.9
• Jennifer Clark and Victoria Kolbinger both landed in the top-80, notching times of 24:03.60 and 24:39.40 in 51^st and 78^th
• Rounding out the Wolves top-5 were Victoria Kolbinger and Avery Murray with times of 24:29.40 and 25:46.80

Northern returns to action on Friday, October 7 at the Jimmie Invitational. The men's race is set for 4 p.m., followed by the women's at 4:45 p.m. from Parkhurst in Jamestown.
