Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State University head coach Rocky Burkett announced the addition of Marshall VanTassel out of Union City, Pennsylvania to the 2022-23 roster.

VanTassel is a 5-foot-10, 197-pounder out of Union City High School and Millersville University. As a prep, VanTassel was a 3-year letterwinner and starter for the Bears, compiling a career record of 86-36. Under the direction of UCHS head coach Jeff Hiner, VanTassel was a PIAA State placer in 2020. VanTassel redshirted in his freshman campaign for the Marauders of Millersville.
