Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released today the 2022 NCAA Division II Scholar All-America teams. The Northern State University Wolves concluded the season with the fourth best team GPA in the country, coming in at 3.419. In addition, ten Wolves were honored as Scholar All-Americans.
 
The individual honorees for NSU include Ty Althoff, Teagan Block, Robert Coyle III, Kelby Hawkins, Cole Huss, Kolton Roth, Tyson Stoebner, Josh Trumble, Wyatt Turnquist, and Tanner Wiese. In addition to their fourth place standing nationally, Northern ranked as the top team academically in Super Region V.
 
Northern concluded the 2021-22 season with a 10-3 record overall and 6-3 record in the NSIC. NSU finished the year third in the NSIC and took fourth from the NCAA Super Region V Tournament. In addition, three wrestlers qualified for the NCAA Championships and the team took 24^th at the NCAA National Tournament.
