HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Northern State bats came to life in the fifth inning, Mitchell Tolk started the scoring when he scored on a wild pitch, followed by Zachary Lanier who scored when Jack Weidner reached base on a fielder's choice, and Jack Paulson brought the game within one run when he scored on a wild pitch
- After falling behind by seven the Wolves tried to keep themselves in the game with a two run eighth inning; Karson Hesser scored the first run in the inning when Reece Ragatz hit a double into right field and Brandon Kusler capped the scoring when he crossed home plate on a double down the left field line by Alex Gauer
- The Peacocks scored four runs in the fourth inning, five in the fifth, one in the sixth, and six in the eighth inning
- The Wolves scored their six runs on five hits and committed three errors defensively
- Andrew Pugliano suffered the loss on the mound, after pitching three scoreless innings he surrendered runs in the fourth and fifth innings before being relieved by Zach Carolin
