Kenosha, Wis. – After a Friday night dual versus the No. 11 Rangers, the No. 20 Northern State University wrestling team took on the Jim Koch Open with 15 student-athletes in competition. Ten Wolves made the podium at the meet led by
Landen Fischer,
Wyatt Turnquist, and
Chase Bloomquist with runner-up finishes.

- Brenden Salfrank took fourth at 125 pounds with a 4-2 record on the day; he tallied wins over Kyree Noble of Harper College (Fall 2:20), Joshua Cruz of Joliet JC (Maj. 18-8), Kade Willis of Maryville (MFF), and Aidan Haggard of Maryville (Fall 2:19)
- Landen Fischer went 2-1 on the day en route to his second place finish with wins over Nicholas Korhorn of Findlay (Dec 6-2) and Aidan Haggard of Maryville (TF 20-4), before falling to Shane Corrigan in a 16-3 major decision
- Robert Coyle III tallied a fifth place finish at 141 pounds with a 3-2 record on the day; he recorded wins over Alex Epstein of Findlay (Dec 4-2), Lucas Nagel of Davenport (Maj. 14-4), and Rasheek Bongs of McKendree (Maj. 13-5) in the fifth place match
- No. 7 Turnquist went 3-1 and fell to Jalen Spuhler of UWP in the championship match in a 4-3 decision; he tallied three straight victories over Christian Pfeiffer-Laguerre of McKendree (Fall 1:27), Mason Kleinberg of Findlay (TF 16-0), and Aiden Medora of Wisconsin (Dec 3-0)
- Tyson Stoebner added a sixth place finish at 157 pounds with a bye in the opening round and win over Tony Pacetti of Joliet JC (Maj. 16-7) in the quarterfinals
- Spencer Roth went 4-2 from the meet with a fifth place finish at 165 pounds; he notched wins over Jamason Jodway of Davenport (Fall 3:35), Jordan Alcala of McKendree (Fall 1:17), Gary Nilson of Findlay (Dec 6-1), and Andrew Knick of Findlay (Dec 6-4)
- Chase Bloomquist was the final runner-up of the day for the Wolves, going 3-1 at 165 pounds; he recorded wins over Jackson Pettigrew of Findlay (Dec 7-3), Ty Miller of Whitewater (Maj. 8-0), and Kevin Meicher of Wisconsin (SV-1 7-5)
- Kelby Hawkins opened his day with back-to-back wins over Luke Hooker of UWP (Maj. 12-4) and Brody Hemauer of UWP (Dec 3-1) en route to a sixth place finish
- Marshall VanTassel took fourth in the 197 class with a 3-2 record; he tallied wins over Jacob Kowalski of Findlay (Dec 7-4), Jacob Juska of Harper College (Dec 4-2), and Alexander Drmac of McKendree (Fall 3:37)
- George Bolling closed out the podium finishes for the Wolves, taking fifth at 285-pounds; he went 4-2 with wins over Jose Medina of Davenport (Fall 6:04), Dustin Olmstead of McKendree (Dec 3-0), Garner Simmons of Whitewater (TB-1 2-1), and Jonah Schmidtke of Wisconsin (Dec 3-1)
