Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State soccer team will host their annual Trapshoot on Saturday, August 14 from the Aberdeen Gun Club. Registration for the event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the events following. Cost of the trap shoot is $500 for each 5-person team. To register for the event visit nsuwolves.com/trapshoot.
 
Registration includes dinner, drinks, t-shirt, koozie, clays, and 50 rounds per team member. Teams must register by August 11 with the Trap Shoot limited to the first 20 teams. Prizes will be awarded to teams with the best score of total clays hit per team. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams (1st place prize is free registration at next year's event, 2nd place prize is $250, 3rd place prize is $125). Each individual can purchase a raffle ticket for white clay, and upon hitting it, will be entered into a separate raffle. Raffles will be announced following the conclusion of all teams shooting.
 
In addition, Northern is offering a virtual option for participants looking to compete from their home range. Cost of the virtual event is $50 per person with results being accepted from August 1-14. Registration includes a shirt and Trapshoot koozie (mailed upon the completion of competition). Results for 50 rounds should be submitted to jordan.quinlan@northern.edu in the form of a scorecard photo (Results received after 5 p.m. will NOT be accepted). The top two virtual shooters will receive a prize.
