Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team dropped their fifth straight game on Sunday, falling to St. Cloud State by one run.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. Cloud tallied one run in the top of the first and the Wolves answered back with a run of their own in the bottom of the frame
- Reece Ragatz scored Ben Carolin on a groundout to second base to tie the game
- The Huskies added two more runs in the second and held a 3-1 lead through 3.5 innings
- Karson Hesser doubled in Spencer Sarringar and came around to score on an error in the fourth inning, tying the game for the second time
- Northern then took the lead in the bottom of the fifth with one run from Carolin
- St. Cloud State regained the lead in the seventh, notching two runs of their own, however the Wolves were not done yet
- Hesser tallied his third RBI of the game in the seventh, scoring Justin Hutter on a single through the right side
- The Huskies grabbed the lead for the final time in the top of the eighth and held the Wolves scoreless through the final two innings
- Northern tallied five runs on seven hits with one error defensively
- Connor Burgess suffered the loss for the Wolves giving up the one run in the eighth
