KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the 2021 NABC Coaches' Division II All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division. Northern State juniors
Parker Fox and
Mason Stark were honored on the first and second team.
Fox averaged 22.3 points per game, as well as 9.9 rebounds per game. He recorded ten double-doubles this season, in addition to career highs in scoring (39), rebounding (21), and assists (7). Fox shot 64.4% from the field and tallied 74 blocks, 49 assists, and 37 steals. The redshirt junior became a member of the Northern State 1,000 point club in 2021 and earned four NSIC North Division Player of the Week awards and one National Player of the Week honor. He was named to the NSIC/Sanford Health and NCAA Central Region All-Tournament teams. In addition, Fox was the NSIC North Division Defensive Player of the Year, Player of the Year, and first team all-conference honoree.
Stark was second on the team averaging 16.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, shooting 51.4% from the floor and 44.9% from the foul line. The redshirt junior knocked down 35from beyond the arc, and added 70 assists, 18 steals, and seven blocks this season. He recorded career highs in rebounds (11) and assists (7) this season. In addition, Stark became a member of the NSU 1,000 point club, was named to the NSIC All-Conference first team, and was honored as the NSIC/Sanford Health Basketball Tournament MVP.
