Minneapolis, Minn. – The Northern State University baseball dropped two non-conference contests versus Minnesota Duluth in the early hours of Sunday. NSU tallied nine hits in the two games and did not give up an error on defense.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Minnesota Duluth scored first with three runs in the bottom of the seventh and added one in the sixth
• The Bulldogs held the Wolves scoreless, as NSU tallied just three hits in the game
• Mitchell Tolk suffered his first loss of the season, throwing the first out of the bottom of the second for NSU

Game 2
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Northern was unable to plate runs in the second game, however double their hit count from game one
• The Wolves left ten runners on base in the loss
• UMD scored four runs in the fourth and two in the fifth
• Zach Hrvol suffered his second loss of the season, throwing three complete innings with four earned runs, five hits, and seven strikeouts
