Wolves Wrestling Wins 16 Bouts at the NCAA Super Region V Tournament, Places Fifth as a Team

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team finished in fifth from the NCAA Super Region V Tournament with 46.0 team points. Caden Moore punched his ticket to the NCAA National Championships. With at-large bids still available from the NCAA, Kolton Roth and Ali'i Loyola are the other available Wolves to advance.

  • Kolton Roth placed second, notching 9.0 team points with wins over Justin Sampson of SMSU (Dec 3-0) and Kolbe O'Brien of Minnesota State (Fall 4:22)
  • Roth fell to Joey Bianchini of St. Cloud State (Dec 9-3) in the championship match and Tate Murty of Upper Iowa (MD 19-8) in the true second bout
