Wolves Welcome Marauders in Regular Season Finale

Aberdeen, S.D. – The (RV) Northern State University wrestling team hosts the University of Mary in their final regular season dual tomorrow evening. The two teams will compete in a typical dual, with a number of additional matches following the ten team-scored matches. Wrestling kicks off at 6 p.m. with the extra matches, followed by the main team scored dual.

  • The Wolves are 4-0 heading into the Thursday match-up with wins over No. 20 Upper Iowa (18-15), No. 22 Parkside (20-12), Minot State (25-13), and Southwest Minnesota State (18-16)
  • Northern is receiving 11 votes in the most recent NWCA Top-25 Poll as a team with three wrestlers ranked individually in No. 7 Dayne Morton (133), No. 10 Kolton Roth (141), and No. 12 Caden Moore (157)
  • Roth leads the team with a 4-0 record, notching one decision, one major decision, and two wins by fall this season
  • Wyatt Turnquist, Ali'i Loyola, and Caden Moore each have a 3-1 record, with Turnquist recording two major decisions and one win by fall
