Aberdeen, S.D. - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released their first regular season poll for the 2021-22 season on Friday afternoon. Northern State is receiving two votes in the team rankings, while Kolton Roth remains ranked in the 141 pound weight class at No. 11.

Roth moved up one spot from his preseason rank of No. 12. He is still awaiting to make his season debut and is listed as one of two probable starters for the Wolves at 141 in their Friday night dual at Minot State. Last season he went 7-2 overall, recorded a second place finish in the NCAA Super Regionals, and was named Second Team All-NSIC.

Northern State is set to open NSIC action tonight, December 3^rd, with a dual at Minot State. They will close the weekend by participating in the Dragon Open hosted by MSU Moorhead on Saturday, December 5^th.
