Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Jacksen Moni (men's basketball) and Lexi Roe (women's basketball) have been named as the South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.
 
Moni averaged 18.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game last weekend. He recorded a weekend high of 23 points against Bemidji State. Moni shot 12-22 (54.5%) from the field and an impressive 10-16 (62.5%) from behind the 3-point line during the two games this weekend.
 
Roe averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game last weekend for the Wolves. In Saturday's game at Bemidji State, she recorded her first double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Roe's 11 rebounds in the game also set a new season high.
