Burnsville, Minn. – Northern State University freshman Megan Fastenau was honored by the league today as the Offensive Player of the Week. This is the second consecutive week the Wolves soccer team has received a player of the week award.
 
NSIC Offensive Player of the Week - #24 Megan Fastenau (F, 5-10, Fr., Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS) - Northern State
- Scored two goals on the weekend against Upper Iowa and Winona State
- Both goals were the game-winner in 1-0 victories
- Scored game-winning goal in the first overtime against Winona State
- Overall she totaled eight shots and four shots-on-goal in the two matches
