Northern State Swimming Ready to Close out Regular Season at Home

Aberdeen, S.D. — The Northern State University swim team is set to take on non-conference opponent Concordia College Friday. The dual is slated to start at 5:30 p.m. from the Aberdeen YMCA.

  • Northern State and the Aberdeen Family YMCA will not be permitting fans into the facility, however the contest will be live streamed

ABOUT THE WOLVES
  • The Wolves kick off the final regular season dual 0-8 overall
  • Last weekend at the UMary pentathlon, NSU posted strong times with Mayson Sheldon breaking the freshman record in the 50 breast
  • Northern posted 17 top-10 event finishes and three top-10 overall combined finishes
  • Overall, Gonzales had the highest combined finish out of the Wolves placing fourth with a combined time of 3:00.26
 
ABOUT THE COBBERS
  • Concordia College travels to Aberdeen for their first of four duals to kick off the season
  • Last season, Concordia College went 0-5-1, their lone tie was at the Saint Mary's / Iowa Lakes CC triangular
  • Concordia College is led by Anneliesse Bruns in her first season as head coach
 
LAST MEETING
  • The Wolves are 3-0 against the Cobbers
  • The first meeting was back in 2013 when NSU grabbed the 145-60 win
  • NSU and CC last faced off in 2015, with the Wolves recording a 122-82 victory
