Wolves Football 2020 Camp Registration Open Now

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University football team will host three camps from the Athletic and Recreation Fields in July and August. Two high school age camps will be available July 27 and 29, as well as a youth camp for grades 2-7 with sessions August 3-6.

Skills Camp • High School Juniors & Seniors • 1-5 p.m. (check-in at 12 p.m.)

Campers are reminded to bring their own cleats, shoulder pads, helmet, mouth piece, and water bottle.
 
 
Big Man Camp • High School Juniors & Seniors • 1-5 p.m. (check-in at 12 p.m.)

Youth Camp • Grades 2-7
Session 1: August 3 & 4 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (entering grades 2-3)
Session 2: August 3 & 4 from 2-4 p.m. (entering grade 4)
Session 3: August 5 & 6 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (entering grade 5)
Session 4: August 5 & 6 from 2-4 p.m. (entering grades 6-7)

Registration will take place each day 45 minutes prior to camp beginning. Campers are reminded to bring football cleats/tennis shoes, a water bottle, and weather appropriate clothing. Each session will be limited to 60 campers.
 
Sanford Health has recommended that each participant be screened daily upon arrival to the respective facility. Screening will be done by infrared thermometer by coaching staff members. Campers will be asked the following 2 questions upon registration:  Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19, and have you been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19?
 
All camp materials will encourage campers, staff, campers, and their families about when they should stay home and when they can return to camp. Each registration form will include the following language:
  • IF you are sick or have recently had a close contact with a person with COVID-19 please stay home.
  • Staff members, campers and their families will be required to stay home if they have tested positive for or are showing COVID-19 symptoms.
 
Parents/Guardians during camps
  • It is not recommended that parents stay in the facility during camp. After the parent/guardian drops off and assists with child check-in, parents should leave the facility.
  • IF the parent or guardian feels that they must be present in the facility for the duration of the camp, they will be encouraged to wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing at the facility.
