Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State women's basketball team clinched a win against the Minnesota State Mavericks Saturday evening from Wachs Arena.

• The two teams went back and forth in the first quarter, as neither team could find their rhythm to jump ahead early in the game
• In the second quarter after allowing MSU to lead by seven the Wolves went on a 5-point run that lasted just under two minutes

• The largest lead of the game came with 5:50 left in the third quarter as Kennedy Harris nailed the jumper, putting the Wolves up by 12
