Aberdeen, S.D. – Rosters are set for the Northern State football intrasquad scrimmage scheduled for this Saturday (Oct. 17) from Swisher Field. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. with the south tailgate lot opening at 4 p.m. for all fans. The scrimmage will follow normal game rules. The maroon and white team rosters are available HERE.
 
Admission to the scrimmage is free for all, however all Wolves Club members are invited to a member only tailgate beginning at 4 p.m. with free food. Within the tailgate, CDC guidelines will be observed with spaced out tailgate spots and facial coverings/social distancing encouraged. Tailgate attendees are also encouraged to bring their own chair as provided seating options will be limited due to COVID. In addition, food items will be served by Northern State staff in proper PPE and disposable condiments will be available. 
 
To become a Wolves Club member contact Austin Hieb at austin.hieb@northern.edu. The Official Nike Team Store will be open in the tailgate lot prior to kickoff and in the complex through the end of halftime for fans to gear up with the latest Wolves Athletics items.
 
Swisher Field provides ample space to follow CDC guidelines, including social distancing both in the complex and tailgate lot. Fans are encouraged to follow all CDC guidelines (listed below), in addition to facility guidelines such as the posted distanced seating. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the facility for all fans. The maroon team will take the traditional (west) home side, while the white team will be on the visitors (east) side. Fans are encouraged to sit throughout the 6000+ seat facility, including both the east and west bleacher areas.
 
Keeping COVID protocols in mind, printed programs will not be available within the facility, however fans will be able to load the scrimmage program (linked above) through QR codes posted at the entrances. To access the program via the posted QR code, open your phone camera, center the code in your camera screen, and click on the pop-up directing you to the online program.  

In addition the Swisher Field concessions stand and restrooms will be open and operating for all fans. CDC information and helpful reminders will be announced over the PA system throughout competition.  
 
Northern State University & NSU Athletics are following CDC guidelines to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19.  NSU asks all individuals to follow these prevention tips:

• Practice safe social distancing, keeping at least 6 feet between individuals at all times.
• Wash hands thoroughly and sanitize equipment after use.
• Wear a mask and/or gloves when possible.
• Stay home if you are sick, especially if you are experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath.

• All members of the Northern State coaching and athletics staff will wear face coverings throughout the day
• Fans are encouraged to wear a facial covering, especially in situations where social distancing becomes difficult (specifically the restrooms and indoor spaces)
