Wolves Gear up to Close out Non-Conference Schedule Against Ferris State

Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's soccer closes out non-conference play on Sunday against the Ferris State University Bulldogs. The game is set to kick-off at 12 p.m. from the Athletic and Recreation Fields. Admission to Sunday's contest will be free.
 
ABOUT THE WOLVES
•          Northern enters the match-up with a 2-0 record overall
•          The Wolves look to keep the momentum rolling after a dominating mid-week performance defeating Waldorf University 3-0
•          NSU looks to continue their dominate play controlling over half of total possession in their last two matches
•          Northern will look to keep their opponents scoreless for the third straight game
•          The Wolves are shooting .500 on goal as a team thus far this season, while averaging 11 shots per game
•          Stephany Estrada leads the team with two goals, one assist, five points, and five shots after a two goal evening versus the Warriors
•          Also recording goals this season at Gaby Roman (Green Bay) and Alexis Roessler (Waldorf)
•          Morgan Bury has been the only keeper in the net for NSU, racking up two shut-out victories and 11 total saves
ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
•          The Bulldogs are 1-0-1 on the season and will play at Minot State before traveling to Aberdeen
•          In their two games thus far, Ferris State is averaging 22 shots per game, with.568 percent of those shots on goal
•          In addition, FSU has two shutouts on the year, coming away with a win and a tie
•          Pia Nagel leads the team with nine shots and nine shots on goal, as well as one game-winning goal
•          Gabrielle Teodorescu follows closely behind with seven shots and three on goal, recording a shot percentage of .429 thus far on the year
•          The Bulldogs are led by head coach Greg Henson and assisted by Taylor Peacock
LAST MEETING
•          This is the first meeting between the Wolves and Bulldogs in either program's history
