Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State Wolves dominated Waldorf University on Thursday evening, picking up their second win of the 2019 season and first from the Athletic and Recreation Fields. The Wolves led 2-0 at the half and tacked on their third goal of the game late in the second frame.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At the 30-minute mark of the first half, Stephany Estrada and Shianne Rosselli connected with Alexis Roessler, giving the Wolves a 1-0 lead
- Just four minutes later, Vanessa Mejia and Haley Wammock tallied their first assists of the season connecting with Estrada for the score
- Estrada continued her stellar evening for the Wolves with just four minutes of play remaining in regulation for her second goal of the game and third scoring play
- The Wolves out-shot the Warriors 16-8 in total shots and 8-6 in shots on target
- In addition, Northern tallied eight corner kicks to Waldorf's two
