Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State head coach Nicole Monanian the addition of Connor Doran to the 2019-20 Wolves swimming roster. Doran is the 12^th commit for Monanian heading into the fall, joining the Wolves from Oregon State University.
 
She will join Maycie Olson (Watertown, S.D.), Georgy Turner (Johannesburg, South Africa), Lauren Forsyth (Durban, South Africa), Melani Mercer (Omaha, Neb.), Annalise Bishop (Huron, S.D.), Kennedy Davis (Springfield, Va.), Delanee Grier (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Hannah Kiernan (Bradford, Ontario), Megan Pattee (Farmington, Minn.), Grace Peterson (Berthoud, Colo.), and Delaney Ryken (Ames, Iowa).
 
"Connor is a top-level athlete, student, and overall person," noted Monanian. "She is going to be a great addition to our team and make a big impact on points for our team at conference both individually and on relays. We are excited to welcome her to the Pack."

Doran is a 5-foot-11, freestyle swimmer out of Redding, California and Shasta High School. She comes to Aberdeen after competing one season with Oregon State University. As a prep, Doran was a 4-time all-league selection, 4-time all-section honoree, 4-time team high point winner, and 2-time section swimmer of the year. She broke and re-broke the Shasta High School 100 butterfly record with times of 58.50 and 58.25. In addition, Doran was a member of the section and league championships 4x100 yard relay team in 2018. In her freshman campaign, she tallied personal bests of 24.74 in the 50 free, 52.98 in the 100 free, and 1:54.50 in the 200 free. She is the daughter of Michael Doran.
