Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State head coach Nicole Monanian announced today the final member of her 2019-20 signing class, Cassie Williams out of Helena, Montana. Williams is the 13^th and final addition for the Wolves heading into the fall 2019 semester.  
 
"Our team, the admissions staff, and community did a great job helping us with our incoming class this year," explained Monanian. "It is truly a team effort to show how incredible our school and community are. We are looking forward to being more competitive both in the NSIC and NCAA with the addition of these 13 ladies."
 
She will join Maycie Olson (Watertown, S.D.), Georgy Turner (Johannesburg, South Africa), Lauren Forsyth (Durban, South Africa), Melani Mercer (Omaha, Neb.), Annalise Bishop (Huron, S.D.), Kennedy Davis (Springfield, Va.), Delanee Grier (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Hannah Kiernan (Bradford, Ontario), Megan Pattee (Farmington, Minn.), Grace Peterson (Berthoud, Colo.), Delaney Ryken (Ames, Iowa), and Connor Doran (Redding, Calif.).
 
"Cassie is a top swimmer from Montana, and is going to be a strong sprinter for us, as well as an excellent student," added Monanian. "We are looking forward to maximizing her speed and seeing big things from her as we add lifting into her training."

Williams is a 5-foot-7, freestyle sprinter out of Capital High School. She was a 2-year letter winner and senior team captain for the Bruins under the direction of head coach Kyle Kallin. Williams recorded personal bests of 25.93 in the 50 free and 56.98 in the 100 free in 2019. She was a member of the all-state 200 freestyle relay team, and was named MCA Academic All-State in 2018. The Bruins took fourth overall at the Montana State Tournament in her final season. She is the daughter of Patricia and Bradley Williams.
