Sioux Center/Pella, Iowa – The Northern State track and field team competed from the Dordt Invite and Central College Dutch Invite notching three event wins and 15 top-5 finishes on the women's side, and five event wins and 11 top-5 finishes on the men's side.

MEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• TJ Hochstetler won the Dutch Invite decathlon with a personal best of 6,323 points; notching marks of 11.56 in the 100m, 51.67 in the 400m, 5:02.00 in the 1500m, 16.62 in the 110m hurdles, 1.88m in the high jump, 4.40m in the pole vault, 6.54m in the long jump, 10.67m in the shot put, 33.10m in the discus, and 40.23m in the javelin
• Bryce Malsam followed in third place in the decathlon with 5,550 points; recording marks of 11.46 in the 100m, 53.92 in the 400m, 5:15.10 in the 1500m, 15.79 in the 110m hurdles, 2.03m in the high jump, 6.38m in the long jump, 10.48m in the shot put, 35.24m in the discus, and 32.14m in the javelin
• Itoitz Rodriguez won the 400m from the Dordt invite with a time of 48.49, followed by Isaiha Fletcher in third with a time of 49.30
• Jacob Lackas took fourth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.15
• Jacob Wiedrich won the pole vault, clearing 4.35m, while Zachary Burns took second in the event clearing 4.20m
• Trey Tiefenthaler took fourth in the long jump, with a 6.56m jump, and followed that up with a  second place finish in the triple jump at 13.72m
• Tanner Berg won the shot put and hammer throw with personal bests and NCAA provisional marks in each event, throwing 16.34m in the shot and a school record 61.60m in the hammer
• Austin Eppard and Jake Olson took third and fifth in the discus, throwing 47.13m and 45.93m respectively

 
WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Shanice Burrell took second in the 100m with a time of 12.47
• Burrell went on to win the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.42, followed by fellow Wolf Hanneke Oosterwegel in second with a time of 14.46
• Madison Barnes notched a second place finish in the 200m with a time of 26.28, followed by Emma Rezac and Mackenzie Cruzen in fourth and fifth with times of 26.80 and 26.83 respectively
• Barnes went on to take second in the 400m as well, crossing the line at 58.88 while Rezac took fifth in the race with a time of 1:00.27
• After a second place finish in the 100m hurdles, Oosterwegel notched a race win in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.46
• Isabel Kinzer also finished in the top-5 of the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:07.01
• The 4x100m relay team of Dakota Hutzler, Hanneke Oosterwegel, Shanice Burrell, and Emma Rezac finish in 48.88 in second place
• Tava Berg and Sonia Alaman took second and fifth in the high jump, each clearing 1.58m
• Kealy Hill won the pole vault, as the only competitor to clear 3.35m on their first attempt
• Hutzler also tallied a top-5 finish in the long jump with a 5.23m mark
• Jordan Menken took third in the shot put, throwing 12.79m on her second attempt of the day
