Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State senior
Hannah Kastigar will kick off the final NCAA National Championships of her career tomorrow from Indianapolis. The Aberdeen native qualified for four events from the Championships, and will swim one event each day March 13-16 from the IU Natatorium. The trials open up at 10 a.m. (ET) each day with finals beginning at 6 p.m. (ET) from the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.
She is set to compete in the 200 individual medley, 400 individual medley, 200 butterfly, and 200 breaststroke. The senior enters the championships second in the 200 IM (1:59.57), first in the 400 IM (4:14.96), second in the 200 butterfly (1:58.50), and third in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.30). Kastigar won the national championships in the 400 IM and 200 butterfly in 2017, and earned All-American status in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly.
