Snyder Earns Second Central Region Player of the Year Honor

TOPEKA, Kan. – Northern State University junior, Laura Snyder has been named the D2CCA Central Regional Player of the Year as voted on by the region's sports information directors. Snyder will be one of nine players who will take part in the NCAA Central Regional starting Thursday in Nebraska-Kearney.
 
Snyder leads the Northern State offense this season with 425 total kills, averaging 4.25 kills per set with a .337 attack percentage. The junior recorded the 1,000 kill of her career this season and currently has 1,050. She has recorded double figure kills in 29 of the Wolves 31 matches this season, hitting over .400 in 11. The junior opened her career as the NSIC Freshman of the Year and was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Year this season. She is a three time NSIC All-Conference first team selection. In addition, she earned AVCA Central Region Player of the Year honors, announced earlier this morning.
