Aberdeen, S.D. – A career milestone and senior day highlight No. 7 Northern State's win over Sioux Falls on Saturday afternoon from Wachs Arena. The Wolves opened the match taking the first two sets, however the Cougars rallied back and forced a fourth set showdown with the prevailing Wolves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The match was kicked off by honoring the four Northern State seniors Ashley Rozell, Jenna Reiff, Jaiden Langlie, and Sydney Miller
- The Wolves defeated the Cougars with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, and 25-19 in one of the longest 4-set matches which took over two hours
- Both team's held each other at bay offensively, with the Wolves hitting a match high .178
- Northern however did prove to be the model of efficiency in the fourth hitting at a .412 clip with 18 kills and four errors on 34 swings
- In total, NSU tallied 58 kills 54 assists, 81 digs, seven blocks, and four aces
- They held the Cougars to a .121 attack percentage and forced 24 hitting errors in the win

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Laura Snyder tallied the 1,000 kill of her Northern State career on her sixth of the evening, following in the footsteps of Jenna Reiff who tallied the accomplishment earlier this season
- The pair are the first Wolves teammates to achieve the feat since Jessica Johnson and Tammy Mademann back in the mid-1990's
- In addition, they are just the ninth and tenth to surpass the 1,000 career kill mark in program history
