Joplin, Mo. – The Northern State cross country teams wrapped up their fall slates this morning at the NCAA Central Region Championships. The Wolves finished in 22^nd on the men's side with an average time of 33:52.00 and 21^st on the women's side with an average time of 23:58.00.
 
MEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Riccardo Done led the way for the NSU men with a time of 32:23.10 in 54^th overall
• Jackson Harrison raced his way into the top-100 with a time of 32:51.60
• The Chase brothers, Jalen and Ricardo followed with times of 34:00.60 and 34:32.90 respectively, while Michael Wirth rounded out the Wolves top-5 with a mark of 35:29.80

 
WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Megan Mooberry tallied the top finish for the Wolves women in the top-100 of the race with a time 23:36.40
• Madison Leapaldt also landed in the top-100 with a time of 23:47.70
• Livia Wallace and Victoria Kolbinger tallied times of 23:49.50 and 23:51.00, while Jennifer Clark rounded out the Wolves top-5 finishers with a time of 24:46.00

Northern State seniors Riccardo Done, Logan Swenson, and Madison Leapaldt exhausted their cross country eligibility with the Wolves, racing the final meet of their careers. The Wolves student-athletes will open the 2019-20 indoor track and field season on November 25 with the annual Maroon versus Gold Meet from the Barnett Center.
