No. 7 Wolves Welcome Beavers Tomorrow Evening

Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 7 Northern State University volleyball team remains at home tomorrow evening for a mid-week match-up versus Minot State University. First serve is set for 6 p.m. from Wachs Arena.
 
QUICK HITS ON THE #7 NORTHERN STATE WOLVES
                • The No. 7 Wolves enter the mid-week match-up with the Beavers on a 2-game win streak with sweeps versus MSU Moorhead and UMary
                • NSU tallied their 20th win of the season versus the Marauders on Saturday and are a perfect 7-0 from Wachs Arena
                • Northern is hitting .304 this season, averaging 14.7 kills, 13.6 assists, 15.8 digs, 1.2 aces, and 2.1 blocks per set
                • They are holding their opponents to a .164 attack percentage, as well as 11.6 kills, 10.5 assists, 13.4 digs, 1.0 aces, and 1.9 blocks per set
                •  The Wolves lead the NSIC versus league opponents in hitting percentage and sit top-5 in the league in opponent hitting percentage, total assists, assists per set, total kills, kills per set, total blocks, blocks per set, total digs, and digs per set
                • Laura Snyder leads the NSU offense with 337 kills this season, averaging 4.16 per set and hitting a team second best .365 thus far
                • Jenna Reiff follows with 273 kills of her own, averaging 3.37 per set, as well as 244 digs, averaging 3.01 per set
                • Peyton Ellingson is hitting a team leading .408 this season after a standout week versus the Dragons and the Marauders notching 18 kills without a hitting error
                • Ellingson also leads the team and the NSIC in blocks with 96.0 total, averaging 1.23 per set
                • Ashley Rozell became the Northern State career assists record holder versus MSUM and currently has 980 this season, averaging a national top-5 12.10 per set
                • Jaiden Langlie sits atop the Wolves defense with 360 digs, averaging 4.44 per set, and leads the team with 30 service aces

                • Shelby Spuller leads the Minot State offense with 285 total kills, averaging 3.48 per set this season
                • Hayley Swain is hitting a team high .257 on the year and is third on the team with 128 total kills
                • Mackenzie Froelich has dished out 656 assists, averaging 8.10 per set
                • Karli Koza leads the Beaver defense with 357 total digs, averaging 4.35 per set, while Swain leads the team at the net with 62.0 blocks, averaging 0.76 per set
