Burnsville, Minn. – For the second time this season, a member of the Northern State University wrestling team has earned NSIC Wrestler of the Week honors. Wolves sophomore Dayne Morton is the week three recipient per the NSIC release earlier today after leading the Wolves from the Finn Grinaker Open.
 
Morton and the Wolves face off against Concordia Moorhead tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. on the road.

Dayne Morton (125, So., Gaylord, Minn. / Sibley East HS) - Northern State
- Won his third straight open, taking the top spot at the Concordia Finn Grinaker
- Went 4-0 on the day with three bonus point victories
- Tallied a victory by fall over Zechariah Thomas (MWCT) in the opening round at 2:33
- Notched an 18-2 technical fall versus Drake Buechler (U-Sak) in the quarterfinals
- Advanced to finals with a 13-3 major decision victory over Oscar Nellis (Minot State)
- Defeated Adam Hedin (SCSU) in a 5-4 decision in the finals
