Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's basketball gets set for another weekend from Wachs Arena as they welcome the Black Hills State at 6 p.m. on Friday and Emporia State University at 2 p.m. on Sunday 

ABOUT THE NORTHERN STATE WOLVES

• Northern State opened their season last weekend at they defeated Rogers State, 71-64 in overtime, and fell to Central Missouri, 50-62

• The Wolves averaged 60.5 points per game last weekend and were out-scored by their opponents by 2.5 points

• NSU closed the weekend with a 50.5% from the field, 21.7% at 3-point range, and 70% from the foul line

• Northern State snatched 74 rebound last weekend, out-rebounding their opponents by 7.0 boards per game

• Emporia State strolls into Wachs Arena 1-1 overall the Hornets will face Northwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday in Emporia, Kansas before coming to Aberdeen

• The Hornets fell to Harding University (62-75) and bounced back defeating Henderson State University (62-59) last weekend

• ESU was out-scored by their opponents by 5.0 points per game in the opening weekend of the season, averaging 62 points per game

• The Hornets are shooting 36% from the field, 16.7% from 3-point range, and 71.1% from the free-throw line
