ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State's Isaiah Cherrier (football) and Jenna Reiff (volleyball) have been named the NSU Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.  Each week, Northern State honors two athletes for their efforts on the field of play.

Cherrier led the Northern State offence to a 24-22 victory over Upper Iowa. He rushed for 127 yards with two touchdowns. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry and recorded a 35-yard long. The sophomore then added six yards receiving.

Reiff led the Northern State Wolves versus Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State hitting .341. She tallied 21 kills, averaging 3.5 per set. The senior notched a career high 20 digs against BSU, totaling 27 on the weekend. She added three aces and two blocks.
