Moorhead, Minn. – The No. 7 Northern State University volleyball team coasted to a 3-set victory over MSU Moorhead on Thursday evening with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, and 25-7.

• Northern handily defeated Moorhead hitting an efficient .424 as a unit and holding their opponents to a .058 attack percentage
• The Wolves tallied 14 kills in the first and 15 apiece in the second and third with 44 total in the match
• NSU added a match leading 44 assists, 37 digs, six aces, and six blocks, while hitting a match high .524 in the final set
• Defensively the Wolves gave up just 24 kills and forced 19 Dragon hitting errors
• Three Wolves finished the evening in double figures offensively
•  In addition, three of the five hitters notched an attack percentage above .500, while two went errorless in the win
