Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State women's soccer travels to Minnesota and Iowa this weekend for a pair of conference games as they take on Winona State at 5 p.m. on Friday and Upper Iowa at 12 p.m. on Sunday.  
 
ABOUT THE WOLVES
•    Northern enters the match-up with a 3-3 record overall and 1-2 mark in the NCIS

• The Wolves look to build more momentum after grabbing their first conference win of the season last weekend
• Northern has found the back of the net six times so far this season averaging one goal per game, and holding their opponents to three total goals, averaging only half a goal per game
• NSU has seen an abundance of corner kicks so far this season with 39 compared to the 22 corner kicks for their opponents
• The Wolves have taken 61 shots this season averaging 10.2 shots per game
• Haley Wammock leads the team in shots with seven and three shots on goal for a .429 shot on goal percentage
• Morgan Bury continues to stand tall in net for the Wolves with a .921 save percentage after 544 minutes of play

• Winona enters the weekend 2-5-0 overall and 1-3-0 in NSIC play after splitting last weekend's conference match ups
• The Warriors last weekend played an overall even match against Bemidji tallying 12 shots and five on goal
• WSU conceded the only goal in Sundays match at the 58-minute mark
• Camryn Cadiz, Courtney Wiencek and Jaida Wiege for Winona are the key players who take shots combining for 43 of the teams 108 shots on the season
• Georgette Topalis leads the Warriors this season with three goals in her 288 minutes of play

• The Wolves defeated the Warriors in last year's conference match 3-2

• Upper Iowa is 1-4-2 on the season and 1-2-1 in league play entering the weekend
• Last weekend the Peacocks took their first win of the season defeating Minnesota Crookston 3-0
• Three different players scored for UIU last weekend in route to their first win
• Facienne Graham netted her second goal of the season for Upper Iowa in the 42 minute
• Haley Ramberg and Emily Fellowes each netted their first goals of the season
• Haley at the 46 minute mark and Emily at the 85 minute mark
