St. Cloud, Minn. – The No. 8 Northern State University volleyball team tallied their second straight 5-set victory over an AVCA Top-25 team on Saturday afternoon, defeating No. 11 St. Cloud State on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. Cloud State took the first and third sets with scores of 25-23 and 30-28, however the Wolves rallied recorded victories of 25-18, 25-21, and 15-9 in the second, fourth, and fifth sets
- The Wolves out-hit the Huskies .228 to .167 in the match, hitting a match high .591 in the fifth and final set
- Northern tallied 66 kills, 66 assists, 11 blocks, and a match high 105 digs and four aces
- Their 105 digs were a season high for NSU and for the second straight night they did not commit an attack error in the fifth set
- Four Wolves recorded double figure kills, while five notched double digit digs
- NSU is now 8-2 versus team's ranked in the top-25 this season
