Bismarck, N.D. – Hannah Kastigar won the Pentathlon on Saturday at University of Mary finishing with a time of 2:50.62, four seconds ahead of the next swimmer. Wolves swimmers finished with 19 season best times, five lifetime best, and three finished in the top-10.
 
Hannah Kastigar picked up victories in the 50 butterfly with a time of 26.67 and in the 100 IM with with a time of 59.39. Hannah Kastigar finished second place in the 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle, and the 50 breaststroke.
 
Ashley Dunn finished in eighth place in the Pentathlon with a 11th place finish in the 50 butterfly, eighth place in the 50 backstroke, 12th place finish in the 50 breaststroke, eighth place in the 100 IM, and a seventh place finish in the 40 freestyle.
 
Shayna Asuncion finished in ninth place in the Pentathlon with a 17th place in the 50 butterfly, 22nd place in the 50 backstroke, fifth place in the 50 backstroke, 22nd place in the 50 freestyle, and ninth place in the 100 IM.
 
Kalina Emaus finished the day with three career best times in the 50 freestyle, 50 breaststroke, and 100 IM. In the 50 breaststroke, she finished with a time of 37.32, in the 50 freestyle she finished with a time of 27.54, and an 11th place finish in the 100 IM with a time of 1:07.96.
 
Josie Gillund also finished with career best times in the 50 breast and 50 back. In the 50 breaststroke, Gillund finished with a time of 35.67 and in the 50 backstroke finished with a time of 32.55. In the final event of the day, the team of Asuncion, Kastigar, and Dunn finished with a time of 3:13.40 in the 300-medley relay.
 
Wolves are back in action in February 12th-16th for the NSIC Championships in Sioux Falls, S.D. at the Midco Aquatic Center.
