Aberdeen, S.D. – The NWCA released today the regional and national individual and team rankings. Five Northern State Wolves are ranked regionally, while another two are receiving national accolades. Northern sits seventh as a team in Super Region 5, and is tied-25 in the national team poll.
The top-25 nod is the first for Northern State wrestling since 2016-17 season where they sat at No. 7 and No. 22. The Wolves are joined by NSIC opponents No. 1 St. Cloud State, No. 9 Minnesota State, No. T19 Upper Iowa, No. 24 UMary, (RV) MSU Moorhead, (RV) Southwest Minnesota State, and (RV) Augustana. In addition, regional foe Wisconsin Parkside is receiving votes nationally.
