Fayette, Iowa – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released this afternoon the second regular season rankings of the 2018-19 season.
Kolton Roth and
Caden Moore are each ranked nationally, with the Wolves receiving votes as a team.
Roth is ranked sixth overall at 141 pounds in the nation, moving up three spots from the previous rankings. The freshman is currently 8-1 this season and 2-0 in league action. His only loss is an injury forfeit earlier this season at Dickinson State.
Moore jumps two spots to No. 10 at 149 pounds in the nation. The freshman holds a 16-4 record this season and is coming off a sixth place finish at the Midwest Classic. Moore is also undefeated in NSIC action and leads the team with five major decision victories.
The Wolves return to action on Thursday versus Augustana from Wachs Arena. The dual will kick off at 7 p.m. in Northern's third NSIC match-up of the year.
