Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University swimming team is back in action Friday evening from the Aberdeen YMCA against Minnesota Morris. First event of the meet is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. against the Cougars.
- NSU picked up five race wins in the dual and 15 top-three finishes and with Northern State not having any divers they could not pick up points in the two diving events leaving them a couple points short of picking up a dual victory.

Hannah Kastigar picked up two individual wins against U-Mary Friday evening in the 200 IM and 200 fly. Kastigar picked up another "B" cut finish in the 200 fly with a time of 2:04.24.

Josie Gillund picked up a race win in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.68.
Shayna Asuncion picked up her first win of the season in the 200 breaststroke.
- Kastigar picked up her fourth NSIC Swimmer of the Week for the fourth time this season.
- Picked up race wins in the 200 butterfly, the 200 IM, and part of the 400 freestyle relay team that finished first. Her time in the 200 butterfly was under the "B" cut time by one second, she finished the race with a time of 2:04.24.
- Her time in the 200 IM was less than one second away from the "B" cut line, she finished with a time of 2:06.05.
About Minnesota Morris:
- UMM enters the meet after competing against Concordia-Moorhead last week and defeating them by a final score of 143-87.
- Montana Lawrence, Sierra Walker, Carolyn Curtis, and Maila Stone teamed up to win the 200 IM relay with a time of 2:02.76.
- Stone picked up a first place finish in the 50 freestyle and Melssen claimed the top spot in the 100 breastroke.
- McKenna Vininski picked up two first place finishes in the one-meter dive and the three-meter dive.
