Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team hits the road for a conference weekend match-up with Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State. The weekend starts with Minnesota Duluth on Friday with kick-off starting at 6 p.m. and Sunday against St. Cloud State with kick-off at 1 p.m.
 

• NSU picked up two one goal victories last week, getting victories against Winona State by a final of 3-2 and Upper Iowa by a score of 2-1.
• The Wovles enter the weekend in fouth place in the NSIC with a 4-2-1 conference record behind Minnesota State Mankato, Augustana, and Bemidji State
• Shianne Rosselli scored two goals in the match on Friday afternoon, Stephany Estrada scored the other goal in the victory against Winona State.
• In Sunday's game Teya Trujillo scored the first goal off the assist from Estrada to give the Wolves an early lead over Upper Iowa.
• Lexie Montoya picked up the victory in net on Friday tallying ten saves in the match.
• Jessica Otto picked up her team leading fourth victory as the goalkeeper.
• Leading goal scorer for the Wolves is Darian Leschewski with five goals and one assist. Second on the team is Rosselli with four goals and two assists. 

 
About Minnesota Duluth:

• Minnesota Duluth enters the weekend with a 3-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 conference record.
• Leading the Bulldogs in scoring and assists is Julia Osborne with two goals and two assists. Six players are tied with one goal on the season.
• Ng Sisley is the projected goalkeeper with a 1-4-1 record giving up eight goals on 49 shots.
• Duluth is led by Greg Cane in his 25th year at the helm for the Bulldogs.

Last Match-up:

• The Bulldogs picked up a 1-0 victory over the Wolves in the only meeting between the two teams in 2017.
• Emily Reiten picked up a shot on goal in the match in the loss.
• NSU all-time against the Bulldogs are 2-15-1, losing two straight against Duluth.

About St. Cloud State:

• St. Cloud State enters the weekend with a 3-4-3 overall and a 3-2-2 NSIC record on the season.
• Hannah Marion leads the Huskies with four goals on the season. Second on the team with three is Maria Witte.
• Monica Majeski leads the team with two assists on the season. Zoe Welsh is expected to start in the net for the Huskies with a 3-3-3 record and allowing 13 goals on 57 shots.
• Gretta Arvesen is the head soccer coach for the Huskies in her fifth year.

Last Match-up:

• The Huskies picked up a 2-1 victory at Jerde Field last season.
• Mallory Schoenhard scored the only Wolves goal in the match, assists was credited to Rosselli. Estrada recorded one shot on goal in the match.
