Wolves Soccer heads east for two conference match-ups

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team hits the road for a conference weekend match-up with Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State. The weekend starts with Minnesota Duluth on Friday with kick-off starting at 6 p.m. and Sunday against St. Cloud State with kick-off at 1 p.m.
 
  • NSU picked up two one goal victories last week, getting victories against Winona State by a final of 3-2 and Upper Iowa by a score of 2-1.
  • The Wovles enter the weekend in fouth place in the NSIC with a 4-2-1 conference record behind Minnesota State Mankato, Augustana, and Bemidji State
  • Shianne Rosselli scored two goals in the match on Friday afternoon, Stephany Estrada scored the other goal in the victory against Winona State.
  • In Sunday's game Teya Trujillo scored the first goal off the assist from Estrada to give the Wolves an early lead over Upper Iowa.
  • Lexie Montoya picked up the victory in net on Friday tallying ten saves in the match.
  • Jessica Otto picked up her team leading fourth victory as the goalkeeper.
