Box Score Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University women's soccer team dropped their Gypsy Days opener to Augustana University, 0-1 on Friday afternoon.  The Wolves fall to 3-5 overall and 2-4 in the NSIC conference, while Augie improves to 6-1-2 overall and 5-0-1 in conference play.

Augustana jumped on the board early in the game with a goal at the 6:11 mark, which ultimately was marked as the game winning goal in the book. 

Shianne Rosselli led the Wolves with three shots and one shot on goal.  Alison Byrd and Stephany Estrada each recorded two shots and one shot on goal.  Overall, NSU registered nine shots and three shots on goal.

The Wolves remain at Jerde Field as they take on Wayne State at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
