Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team returns to NSIC action tomorrow at Minnesota State. The Wolves and Mavericks will face off at 7 p.m. from Mankato and the Minnesota State Taylor Center.
The Wolves enter the dual 4-10 overall and 0-5 in the NSIC, on the hunt for their first league victory of the season. Northern is coming off three battles with MSU Moorhead, Dickinson State, and Southwest Minnesota State. Down a man at 133 pounds, the Wolves look for multiple wrestlers to record extra point victories.
Blake Perryman will return to the NSU probable line-up at 157-pounds after being out the last week and a half. Perryman leads the team with 21 wins this season and sits ranked regionally heading into the final weeks of the season.
Tyler Stenberg is close behind with 19 wins in his senior campaign, holding both a national and regional ranking.
Joe Gomez has been solid for the Wolves in duals this season going a perfect 10-0 overall and 4-0 in league action. The senior has 15 wins currently, bringing his career total to 97 heading into the final three regular season duals of 2016-17.

- The Mavericks enter the dual 8-4 overall and 5-1 in NSIC action with their lone loss coming to St. Cloud State.
- The Mavericks tally two nationally ranked wresters in No. 12 Andrew McFall (125) and No. 3 Adam Cooling (174).
