Sioux Falls, S.D. - The Northern State Swim team hit the pool as they competed in a triangular against Augustana and U-Mary. After day one, NSU lost to U-Mary 102-103 and Augustana 57-148.
The Wolves started out the day when
Edda Skoric, Karlie Brown,
Gentry Musgrove, and
Josie Gillund completed in the 400 medley and placed second with a time of 4:12.05.
Individually, Skoric placed first in the with a 2:09.67 200 backstroke, and second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.25. Brown contributed to the team scores by placing second in 200 backstroke at a time of 2:36.11, and third in the 400 IM with a time of 4:54.10.
Kalina Emaus was able to aid NSU with placing fourth in the 1650 yard freestyle 19:07.73 and fifth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:23.14.
The Wolves ended the day with a third place finish in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:56.22.
The Wolves hit the pool tomorrow as they compete in day two of the triangular with Augustana and U-Mary.
