Northern State Soccer Continues NSIC Play Against Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Wolves will be back in action at Jerde Field for a match up against Bemidji State University at 3 p.m. on Friday.  The Wolves will then hit the road as they travel to Crookston, Minn. to face Minnesota Crookston on Sunday.
 
In last weekend match ups, NSU went 0-1-1 with a loss to Augustana and tied with Wayne State.  During the match against WSC, Emily Reiten was able to break away from defenders and score a goal which tied the game 1-all in regulation.  After some shots on goal attempts and two overtime periods, both teams were unsuccessful to score the game winning goal.   Reiten led the Wolves with three shots and one goal and Sydney Shintaffer finished the match with five shots and one shot on goal.  Justine Charles tallied six saves on the weekend which brought her season total to 51 saves and a record of 3-5-1.
