St. Cloud State – The Northern State University swim team fell to all three opponents in day two of the NMU/NSU/MSUM/SCSU Quad with the scores of 193-42 against Northern Michigan University, 190-47 against St. Cloud State University, and 144 to 93 against Minnesota State University Moorhead.
The Wolves began the day with
Edda Skoric,
Kady Harris,
Karlie Brown, and
Josie Gillund notching a fifth place finish in the 400 medley with the time of 4:15.76.
Skoric led the Wolves with two third place finishes in the 200 free and 100 back with the times of 1:59.12 and 59.81, while
Kalina Emaus nabbed a third and ninth place finish in the 1650 free (19:02.54) and 500 free (5:38.05).
Brown notched a ninth place finish in the 400 IM posting a time of 4:58.25, and tenth place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 1:04.09. In the 100 free,
Kady Harris finished eighth with a time of 57.79, while
Ashley Dunn placed ninth with a time of 58.11.
Jamie Fuse,
Sierra Ohm,
Ashley Dunn, and
Gentry Musgrove capped off the day with a tenth place finish in the 400 free relay nabbing a time of 4:03.79.
Northern will be back in the pool on November 4
th in a dual against U-Mary at home. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. from the Aberdeen YMCA.
