Wolves Soccer Set to Face Warriors and Peacocks

Aberdeen, S.D.  -  The Northern State University soccer team is back in action at Jerde Field for two NSIC match-ups against Winona State University and Upper Iowa University this Saturday and Sunday. The Wolves will first face the Warriors at 12 p.m. on Saturday for the annual Pink Game. NSU will then match-up against the Peacocks at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Last weekend, the Wolves went 0-2 falling to Minnesota State University and Concordia-St. Paul. During the MSU match-up, Stephany Estrada led NSU with two shots and one shot on goal bringing her season total to 20 shots and 10 shots on goal. Justine Charles tallied 14 saves on the weekend bringing her season total to 82 saves.
Overall, Alison Byrd leads the team with 24 shots, ten shots, on goal, and one goal. Following Byrd, Shianne Rosselli has recorded 23 shots, eight shots on goal, and one goal. Rosselli and Estrada have tallied two assist each on the season.
