Final Regular Season Home Games Await Wolves Volleyball

Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 14 Northern State University volleyball team will return to Wachs Arena for their final home games of the regular season this Friday and Saturday. The Wolves will face the No. 4 Southwest Minnesota Mustangs at 7 p.m. on Friday, and match-up against Sioux Falls at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the 2016 senior game.
 
The Wolves enter the weekend with a 16-8 record overall and 9-7 mark in league action, holding down the eighth seed in the league. Northern is hitting .248 this season, averaging 13.2 kills, 12.6 assists, 15.9 digs, 1.6 service aces, and 1.8 blocks per set. Holly Vancura has a team leading 260 kills, while Tori Biach is hitting at a team best .379 clip. Defensively the Wolves have three players over 300 digs this season, led by Vancura with 418. She is followed by Jaiden Langlie and Annika van Oosbree with 355 each. Biach also leads the team at the net with 81 blocks.
 
About the Mustangs
- Southwest Minnesota State enters the weekend with a 20-4 record overall and 14-2 mark in league action as they are tied for the conference lead with Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota Duluth
