Aberdeen, S.D. – After a 1-1 weekend from home, the Northern State University soccer team will travel to take on the Upper Iowa Peacocks and the Winona State Warriors on the road this upcoming Saturday and Sunday. The Wolves enter the road series with an overall record of 6-7-0 and an NSIC record of 4-7-0.
In their first match of the weekend, NSU picked up a 3-1 victory against Concordia- St. Paul after
Stephany Estrada and
Anna Bondy teamed up offensively. Estrada recorded a pair of goals for the Wolves, while
Anna Bondy nabbed a goal and two assists. Bondy continues to stay atop of the conference, as she ranks second in total goals with 13, goals per game with 1.00 and total points with 32.
In the 0-2 loss to Minnesota State, senior
Stacey Cavill recorded 10 saves against an offense that has recorded 35 total goals throughout the season.
Northern State will kick off against the Peacocks at 11 a.m. on Saturday and face the Warriors at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
