Aberdeen, S.D.- The Northern State University women's basketball team returns home to Wachs Arena after completing a two game sweep on the road against the undefeated Winona State Warriors and the Upper Iowa Peacocks, notching five consecutive NSIC victories. The Wolves are currently 3-0 from home, 10-3 overall and 6-2 in conference action this season.

Northern State has been consistent midway through conference play, both offensively and defensively. Sophomore Jill Conrad leads the team scoring 12.7 points per game, recording a 53.7 field goal percentage, and adding the second best free-throw percentage in the NSIC at 93.3 percent.

Center Lauren Deadrick has had a huge impact rebounding for the Wolves, helping the team outrebound opponents by a 10.5 margin. NSU averages 41.8 boards per game, and Deadrick leads the team at 9.0. The senior also leads the team in blocked shots, finding herself in the top 5 in the NSIC at 1.7 per match-up.

The Wolves will begin action from home at 6 p.m. against Minot State on Friday and 4 p.m. against the University of Mary on Saturday.
