Women's Soccer NSU Sports Information

Wolves Draw 0-0 Tie in Double OT

Box Score St. Cloud, Minn.- The Wolves soccer team drew a 0-0 tie from St. Cloud State at Husky Stadium this morning. Northern moves to 0-1-1 in NSIC play and 2-2-1 overall, while the Huskies remain 0-0-2 in the conference and 1-1-2 overall.

Junior midfielder, Anna Bondy connected for two of the three shots on the day for NSU, both of which were on target. Darian Leschewski also assisted with a shot of her own for the Wolves. However, Northern State was outshot 16-3 in the game. Through 110 minutes of competitive play, Wolves' goalkeeper, Brittany Tietz compiled ten saves.

Northern State soccer will return to action from Duluth tomorrow at 3 p.m. to face the 2-2-1 UMD Bulldogs.
